Off the Beaten Plate

Places, Food, People

Sonia Gregor

Biologist, writer, chocolate maker

I pay attention to how words sound and how foods taste. As an ecologist I studied oceans and forests, and as a cultural nomad I’ve lived on 3 continents. I like to draw connections and see how things fit together.

My writing

I have written scientific articles, agricultural guides for farmers, project proposals and award applications, marketing newsletters, and restaurant reviews for print magazines.
